it would probably help to refrigerate the dough before sticking it into the oven.
4. January - 7:23 pmParchment paper and foil are very different things, and serve different purposes when baking. I would probably have baked the cookies right on the pan if I did not have parchment paper on hand.
10. January - 12:01 pmA lot of the time for “special cookies” like these and the cookie-cups made on muffin tins, people are using a regular chocolate-chip cookie recipe. That type of cookie is what my grandma called a spreader cookie. It would always spread out a little to a lot more than the original size. For specialty cookies, you can’t use that kind of dough. It’s best to use Christmas/sugar cookie dough. It spreads out a lot less and will hold its form, especially if you refrigerate it (like tip said) for at least an hour.
