Fail: Candy Cane Blossoms

What I Did: The cookies still taste great but the candy kiss melted flat even though I followed the directions to a t. Not so much a fail just disappointed that they don’t look as good.

My Result:

Next Time I Will: Next time I would cool longer than suggested before placing the kiss in hopes it wouldn’t melt flat.

    Next time, try freezing the kisses before putting them on the cookies, that will prevent them from melting while the cookie finishes cooling.

        Mine did the exact same thing! Sticking them in the freezer right after putting the hugs on helped.

            This happened to my wife’s as well. I do however think they are much easier to eat this way
