What I Did: My sister and I really liked bows and we wanted to try the cute hairstyle we saw on pinterest. We couldn’t figure out how to finish the center part of the bow and keep it from collapsing in on itself. We thought more hair would fix it. No such luck. Fail.

What I Did: I loved how her hair looked in the photo. I was really only planning this is a one time thing, just to try it out and see if I liked it. The whole thing was runny, and wanted to roll down your face, but I manged to keep it in. After waiting, I took a hot shower and thought I got most of it out. When I stepped out and looked in the mirror, my hair was covered in little white bits. It was like dandruff, but worse. I didn’t mix the egg in well enough, and the hot water cooked it in my hair.
The picture is some of the whites in my comb, I couldn’t get a good picture of my head.

My Result:

Next Time I Will: I found so other links later that just say egg yolks. I think it would be nice to make meringue cookies with the whites, and then save to yolks for my hair that is if I ever feel like trying it again.

What I Did: I did this EXACTLY like the pin. I pinned my hair up at night and it looked just like the pin, and in the morning it looked like this. INSANE!!

My Result:

Next Time I Will:  Maybe use larger chunks of hair? Either way I DON’T think this turns out pretty.

What I Did: I changed NOTHING about how this was done. I went to bed looking just like the picture and woke up looking like Carrot Top. LE sigh.

Next Time I Will: This was unsalvageable. If I did it again, I would make sure to have an afro pick handy.

I was headed out for a nice dinner date with my husband and turned to Pinterest for an easy updo that would be a change of pace for me. I got ready, walked down to the car, walked into the restaurant, ate, got back in the car, and walked back up to the apartment. Somehow in that period of time, this is what happened. You’ll see extra pins up top because I excused myself during dinner to try to shove some bobby pins into my hair in an attempt to fix things.

Next Time I Will: Only attempt this if my hair is twice as long as it is now, with less layers, so I can roll up the hair as I’m bringing it up to my scalp.

It looked like a simple and quick cute hairstyle. I figured that there would be no harm in trying it…..

Next Time I Will: I twisted the sections of my hair too small and too tight. Also I didn’t realized that they were supposed to be twisted around an elastic head band so I just bobby pinned the twists. Definitely did NOT work, lol!
